- Please briefly describe your "forte"... your mini bio... you area of expertise and abilities that you will contribute to our Florida Keys, "Conch Community", e.g., activist, boat captain, carpenter, ecologist, educator, electrician, fisherman, fund raising, organizer, photographer, scientist, scuba diver, solar/wind energy, etc. (place all derogatory comments in recycle bin for composting)
My work experience is in electronics, php/sql database and web design, photography, Occupational Therapy specializing in FES, EMG, AT, massage techniques and myofascial release.
I am an activist for the Oceans, from the coral reefs to the dolphins and whales. I became a scuba diver at age 13, lived in Miami since 1965, diving in the keys since the 70's, now living in Key Largo as a member of the "Eco-Friendly Conch Community". I am a scuba diver and underwater photographer with the coral restoration team in Tavernier and also a USCG licensed boat captain, campaigning for green energy and working in Key Largo for solar/wind alternative energy equipment installer.
Our coral reefs are dying and only a massive reduction in fossil fuel use will save them, if they can be saved.

It is very real... Our Oceans are dying... I have lived in Miami since 1965 and been diving in the Keys since the 70's, have have seen the death of the beautiful the Elkhorn coral reefs in the Florida Keys... the feeling is an incredible sadness to witness graveyards of gray rubble that were once beautiful healthy Elkhorn coral...

i am still surprised how many well educated adults think it is not real... so they can go on living in denial in order to enjoy a lifestyle that will unfortunately impact the health of all our grandchildren. We are the pivotal generation. We don't have time to wait for the next generation to take the helm.
We don't need to build a nuclear power plant or crude oil refinery in out back yards... we just need to install some solar panels and wind generators to reduce our carbon footprint. Let's reduce our carbon footprint and share the load for the benefit of future generations. .

hello Isabelle, i love what you have written on iPeace.... "The peace is our natural state of mind..." i also believe that peace and kindness are our most natural ways to be... "our natural state of mind..." and that "loving one another" is the most healthy state of being we can experience... this desire is always within us... too often overshadowed by the forces outside of us that manipulate the young populations into becoming mass consumption sheep... or going into wars to accomplish the financial goals of the power hungry elite who we will never even talk to... so... living with our loving Spirit radiating from within becomes the truest path we can walk... to become the beautiful human beings.... we already are.... the truth is... i love you... and i know you love me... knowing this truth... i choose not to believe in the unkind words of anyone... knowing they have simply lost their balance... and they will regain their balance when they choose to... love is like riding a bicycle... no one can do it for you... and living in love is the only way to learn balance.. only this Action of living the path with love alive "right now" will create a life of aliveness... that leads us to the awareness of who we are... loving beings... peaceful Spirits alive in a material universe... who's greatest joy is in sharing everything we love.... it's only natural... sometimes we are blind to the real beauty... yet only love can open our eyes again... there is an ancient American Indian technique for awakening our Spirit... with every breath.... at the moment your breath stops... at the moment of each full inhale... and full exhale... pause... and touch your Spirit... do this until it reverses... in other wards... until you realize you are the Spirit... touching the physical body... you always were... and always will be... we are so blessed to Live in an infinite universe made of stardust... energized by our loving Spirit...
